The elementary assistance project or adventure based literacy is an intensive social skills project designed to help highly at risk elementary students be successful in their school career. It is designed for children who are on partial day programs because of unmanageable behavior and it is used to support children as they re-enter school on a full time basis.
Within an adventure based environment children participate in specific activities and initiatives which increase self esteem, increase positive behavior and increase their ability to be successful in a classroom. Working with the school, family and others involved with the child this is a team approach to supporting a child as they return to school full time.
